Marketing Mastermind Club
Before you read a single lesson, answer one question honestly: where is your business right now?
There is no wrong place to start, but there is a best place for you. Pick the description that sounds most like your situation today, not the one you wish were true. You can always come back.
If you have an idea but no business yet
Write the plan on a napkin, learn how money really moves through a business, choose a name you can actually keep, find the professionals you will need (an attorney, a banker, an insurance adviser and a tax professional), set a marketing budget that is honest and finish with a clear go or no-go decision. Some of the most expensive mistakes are made before the business ever opens, and cash timing catches even profitable businesses off guard. You will also finish with your first 90 days laid out.
If you are open but can’t say clearly who you serve
Everything else rests on this. Your vision, mission, values and beliefs, then a marketing avatar written in your customer’s own words. If you skip this, every ad you run is a guess.
If you know who you serve and need more of them
Ten fundamentals, then a lesson on each channel: Google Business Profile, reviews, website, local SEO, Google Ads, Local Services Ads, social, email, networking, traditional media and AI. Plus how many leads you need, what a customer really costs, and how to budget and track it.
If the phone rings but sales stall or the work piles up
Why people buy, how they take in what you say, the first conversation and the meeting, closing without pushing, and selling to the same customer twice. Then the operations behind the sale: delivering the work, systems, hiring, delegation and the weekly rhythm that keeps the business running.
Read one lesson, then do what it asks before you read the next one. It is easy to read ten lessons and do nothing with them, and that gets you the same result as reading none. Most lessons also tell you roughly how long it takes to do yourself and what it costs.
Short on time? Read the first six lessons in Track 1, then Startup Costs, Pricing From the Numbers Backward, Break-Even, Building a 12-Month Cash-Flow Forecast and The Go/No-Go Decision. If money is tight right now, stay with the money lessons in Track 1 through Building a Cash Reserve, then move to the lessons on capacity and getting paid in Track 4.
Keep a notebook. Several lessons ask you to write things down, and the answers build on each other. Your avatar from Track 2 shows up again in your ads in Track 3 and in your sales conversations in Track 4.
Want the whole list in one place? Download the printable lesson checklist from the Resources page and tick each lesson off as you finish it. If you get stuck, ask the club chat helper in the corner of any page. It will point you to the right lesson, and if we do not have one, you can leave your question with a name and email so we can reply.
One email a month about something we dealt with and how we solved it. A campaign we set up, how we are using AI, what worked, what didn’t, and what we would do differently. Marketing as it actually happens. No selling. Unsubscribe whenever you like.
