The short version
Marketing Mastermind Club is free to read, and you do not need to give us anything to use it. If you choose to join The Open Book newsletter, we collect your first name and email address so we can send it. If you write to us through the contact form or the chat helper, we also receive your name, email address and message. That is all the personal information we ask for, and we do not sell it.
Who we are
This site is published by RedKnight. When this page says “we,” it means RedKnight and the people who write and maintain this site.
What we collect
Newsletter signup. When you sign up for The Open Book, you give us your first name and email address. The form is provided by LeadConnector (HighLevel), the system RedKnight uses to manage email, so your details are stored there.
Contact form. If you write to us through the contact page, we receive whatever you put in the form, usually your name, email address and message, and we use it to reply to you.
Chat helper. A small chat window on most pages can answer questions using the lessons on this site. It is an automated assistant, not a person. If you type a question, the text is processed by the chat service (LeadConnector, HighLevel) and by the AI service it uses to write a reply, and the conversation is stored so we can see questions the lessons do not answer yet. If it cannot answer and you choose to leave your name and email, we may use them to reply. Please do not type sensitive details such as payment card numbers, passwords or government ID numbers into the chat.
Basic site data. Like most websites, our hosting and site software may log technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the site secure and working. If we add analytics, we will use it to see which lessons are useful, not to identify you.
How we use it
We use your email address to send The Open Book, roughly once a month, and to answer you if you write to us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that run the site and the email system for us.
Unsubscribing and your choices
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and using it takes you off the list. You can also ask us to delete the information we hold about you by using the contact page. We will take care of it.
Cookies
The site and the tools it uses, such as the signup form, may set cookies that help pages load and forms work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
Children
This site is written for adults starting a business. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Links to other sites
Lessons and tool pages sometimes link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Where a link earns us a referral fee, we say so on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
